Owasso Farmers Market & BBQ Contest

Saturday we had the pleasure of being a spot-light vendor at the Owasso Farmers Market. Owasso allows you to do a one-time booth rental as a way to see if it would be a good fit for you and them. The farmers' market in Owasso typically runs 9am - 1pm. For this week it went until 2:15 due to an event. Since we are interested in participating in the 2023 season, I signed up.

8/13 corresponded with their first ever BBQ Contest and Charity Event. In addition to the regular season booths, I and a few other vendors signed up. The air was filled with music, voices, and of course smoking meat. This was their first time, so there is room for improvement, but despite being on the grass behind the regular vendors, we still had good foot traffic.

I was excited and blessed to talk with so many new people and help them get through another hot Saturday with delicious baked treats.

August isn't over yet. Our last event for the month will be 8/18 in Skiatook for the Third Thursday in the Park. If you are in the area make sure to stop by!
